This past Friday, the Abbey Group helped celebrate our student, Miranda Gallagher, the winner of the 2016 Vermont Healthy Lunchtime Challenge. She was honored at the Kids State Dinner at the White House!

Miranda’s Vermont Chicken Salad recipe was the main offering during our lunchtime meals and she assisted the Abbey Group staff in serving students and staff. The feedback from the students was overwhelmingly positive.

This summer, Miranda traveled with her family to the White House to meet Michelle Obama and be recognized for her Vermont Chicken Salad recipe.
