Georgia Elementary second grade students have learning about sound in “The Light Bulb Lab.” STEM Coach, JoAnn Harvey, has been working with the second grade classes to learn about sound as part of their curriculum study of the Five Senses. Students discover that you can not only hear sound – you can see it and feel it as well!

As a culminating activity students were charged with a design challenge. Students had to create a sound technology that included vibrations and echo. The following pictures show the students’ discovery, innovation, creativity, and FUN of learning.
Students have so enjoyed filling their classrooms with music, learning the science of sound!

Awesome! I would have loved to hear the kids working!
