The time has officially come to launch the new Franklin West Supervisory Union (FWSU) blog! The goal of our blog is to over-communicate information about teaching and learning throughout all of our schools. Through the course of the year we will also highlight themes of our action plan. Share a comment to let us know what you think!

Saw first FWSU blog in southern Wyoming where we traveling. Since then I have had Internet connection. Today I am in Montana, and I am struck by the awesomeness of this space, the wonder and beauty of the landscape, and by how isolated kids must be on these western plains. How important today’s connectivity is to them to be a part of everything that is going on around them. Not much different than our kids in Vermont!

(Sorry – just figuring out how all this works…)
I’ve been watching Sir Ken Robinson and Chris Anderson on YouTube and like their thinking (and others’ of course!) that our educational system doesn’t need to be reformed, but revolutionized…
Mary Lynn’s post certainly speaks to the power of “crowd accelerated learning.”

Hope everybody is charging their batteries with this beautiful solar powered summer we’ve been given!
