Today begins the second year in a row that BFA Fairfax HS plays host to thirty students from Chongqing, China. The students are brought to Vermont by SPIRAL International for a three-week intensive English Language immersion program. Families from the FWSU area are hosting students which undoubtedly adds to the their experience in the our country. The group has already spent time in Washington DC and will be visiting Boston before they fly home. BFA educator Katie Mack is the coordinator serving as lead teacher for the project. Welcome students!

This is the second year we have hosted students from china. I have to say that I think I get as much out of it as the kids do. I love sharing with them the beautiful place we live in. While language can sometimes be a barrier, we manage somehow to communicate. Today we had a picture perfect day. Took the kids to Bristol falls. Perfect place to be on a 90+ degree day.
