FES Matter 01Just before the holiday break, students in Mrs. Palermo’s class explored the concept of matter and how it relates to everyday life. These third-graders learned about the various phases of matter through hands-on experiments. Students then recorded their findings in their science journals.

FES Matter 04Applying their knowledge of matter, the students then worked on their final delicious experiment – making ice cream.
