The spirit of community and tradition has been alive and well at BFA Fairfax this winter, and never more evident than in the recent overwhelming success of our athletic teams. The Fairfax community has played an important supportive role in the pursuits of our NVAC Mt. Division Champion Cheerleaders, our Div. 2 Classical Relay State Champion and overall team State Finalist Girls Nordic Ski Team, the first trip to the Div. 3 Final Four since 2009 for our Boys Basketball Team, and our Div. 2 State Finalist Girls Basketball Team!
One of the best examples of Fairfax tradition is the banner that can be seen hanging in the high school hallway leading to the lunchroom. This banner has been hung at every State Championship event for the past 35 years, and has already been present at 3 Championship games this school year.

Hopefully the success of our student-athletes will continue into the spring, and we will proudly hang this banner a few more times before the school year is complete.
The BFA Fairfax athletic department would love to extend a resounding thank you to the community of Fairfax for all of its support. The numerous parents, families, and friends and their undying support have truly played an important role in the success of our student-athletes.
Go Bullets!
