Art students have been working very hard throughout this school year. Here are some Fletcher art students working on projects that were started in 2021.

After each long school break, Fletcher artists review art room rules and practice routines. Here are 3rd grade students in Mrs. Cardone’s class working in small groups. They were asked to pick their top 3 from our large list of art room expectations that we made for each school rule.

All artists in grades 3-6 created gorgeous “trees of life” inspired by the artist Gustav Klimt. Each artist was provided with gold paint to create their tree. They also practiced and then added meaningful symbols to their work when the paint was dry.

Artists in grades K-2 have been learning about color. Here students painted spirals in either warm or cool colors.  They then completed a guided drawing. Kindergarten students drew a polar bear. Students in 1st and 2nd grade drew a penguin.
