Friday night, the BFA Fairfax chapter of the National Honor Society inducted new members into its organization. Families and friends of these accomplished students attended a dessert ceremony honoring the new members. Membership recognizes and honors students’ outstanding achievement in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
Elementary/Middle School Principal Tom Walsh was selected by the current members as the keynote speaker for the evening. Principal Walsh eloquently shared thoughts on the growth of students over time and highlighted how much of what our students learn is actually gained in kindergarten.
“As a middle school principal I do not always see the results of our teaching once they leave the middle school, but tonight I do. It is very cool.” – Tom Walsh

The BFA chapter NHS is expertly guided by Advisor Sara Villeneuve. “Not only do we have exceptional students involved in our chapter, we also have a great Advisor guiding them” states BFA High School Principal Mike Clark.

These students are our leaders of today and our leaders of the future. They are already changing our world with both their thoughts and their actions.
“One is lucky, a solitary fantasy can totally transform one million realities.”
