A sure sign that school is right around the corner is the arrival of new teachers to Franklin West Supervisory Union. This year we have nineteen new teachers joining our system.
New teachers all participated this week in a two day inservice led by the Director of Curriculum and Instruction Mary Lynn Riggs. The training encompassed all aspects of teaching and learning at FWSU. In addition, day two saw our new teachers working directly with their assigned mentor teachers for the 2013/14 school year.
Finally, the new teachers spent time reviewing the FWSU Action Plan and its implications to their teaching practice as they begin there journey in education at our schools.
Welcome to all!
