2014 BFA Fairfax Homecoming will be held October 4-11! Hosted by the BFA Fairfax Athletic Leadership Council, in cooperation with the National Honor Society, this student-driven week of community service and school pride is one of the highlights of each school year. This year’s fundraising platform will be the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, with all proceeds being donated on behalf of members of our BFA community who have been affected by this disease.
Highlights of the week will include Bullet Football hosting rival North Country on Saturday, Oct. 4th at 1pm, the ever-popular “Fairfax Relays” Cross Country costume race on Tuesday, Oct. 7th, Varsity and JV Boys Soccer at 4pm on Friday, Oct. 10th, Varsity and JV Girls Soccer at 4pm on Saturday, Oct. 11th, and numerous middle school home events throughout the course of the week.
Students will be able to show their spirit by taking part in the Fall Team Dance-Off Competition on Friday Oct. 10th, the week-long Support Block coin drop competition for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and by rounding out the week with fun and music at the bonfire being held Saturday night, Oct. 11th, at school from 7-9pm.
The BFA Fairfax Athletic Leadership Council and National Honor Society thank you for your support at these events for our student-athletes, but more importantly, your continued support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
