Successful Fall Season Leads to Exciting Weekend Ahead for BFA Bullets

The fall season has been an exciting and successful one for BFA-Fairfax Bullet Athletics!  Our Middle School Soccer and Cross Country teams demonstrated great spirit and skill while representing BFA Fairfax proudly. Our high school teams have been experiencing one of the most successful seasons ever.

There are numerous events this weekend highlighting the many successes of Bullet Football, Soccer, and Cross Country.  The Varsity Boys Soccer team, on the heels of their exciting first-round victory over Randolph, kicks off the weekend at 3pm Friday with a quarterfinal match at Rivendell Academy.

Friday night at 7pm the Varsity Football team will be competing in the annual “Battle of the Bonnet” against Winooski High School. This event will also serve as a fundraiser for breast cancer research.

Saturday morning the BFA-Fairfax Cross Country teams will be competing in the State Finals at Thetford Academy.  Races begin at 10am.  The Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are just coming off very successful showings at the NVAC Championships last Saturday, and are looking forward to continuing that success.

Last but not least, the Varsity Girls Soccer team will look to continue their fantastic season as they host a quarterfinal match versus Richford on Saturday at 3pm. This jam-packed weekend highlights some of the finest student-athletes that BFA Fairfax has to offer.  We wish the best of luck to all participants, and look forward to great success.
