Indicator of Success for this Goal -Students are engaged in answering authentic questions and solving problems in collaborative settings.
Third graders at BFA ushered in the New Year by learning to practice yoga with a guest yoga teacher from Burlington, as a part of a unit on making healthy choices.
Students applied their knowledge about the importance of maintaining mental, emotional, and physical well-being in daily life to the practice of yoga.
At the end of the session, students were inspired and refreshed, ready for a new year of learning and growth. They enjoyed trying a new activity which made them feel calm and energized at the same time!
